Have you ever thought about the significance of an entrance door? Initially, I did not think very much about my door. It just stood there. But after closer thought, the door is the opening to one's home – a kind of portal to a private sphere. It is the centre piece of many events, including arrivals and departures that are often associated with very strong feelings. There is always a lot of verve and spirit around my door. Waving my son off to school, receiving guests... With today's high quality, the door has become an important long-term investment. When you are about to choose a door, there are certain things that you ought first to consider.
